DONUT KITCHEN

3,000 SF  |  McKinney, Texas

The Donut Kitchen was designed to enhance the character of the Star development and become a unique destination. Bold branding and the playful craft of the donut-making will create an engaging and lively environment that will become a memorable experience for all visitors and customers. True to the mission of The Donut Kitchen, a family owned-restaurant, the new spot will be a place of friendly service, good conversations and great donuts.

This development divided the space into a multi-functional occupancy while bringing in natural day to energize the interior space. Meanwhile, the historic facade is preserved to maintain the integrity of the building on the outside.

During the planning process, we addressed the relationship of street to building, and by re-configuring the passageway, the form becomes an experience for traffic and consumers alike.
